*Currently, in phase 1 of the MyConnext Tool, the Ombuds is only available for members of participating organizations.

To ensure immediate and effective action, please do not use this tool to report instances of child abuse. If you suspect or are aware of child abuse, contact local law enforcement or child protective services directly.

  • Not for hire and does not work for or report to, any participating organization

  • Not an agent or employee of any participating organization or The Hollywood Commission and cannot receive notice of a report on behalf of any Participating Organization or The Hollywood Commission

  • Cannot testify or produce documents concerning communications with MyConnext community members in any legal, administrative, or other matter

  • Cannot provide legal advice, therapy, or counseling services

To ensure safe and effective communication, MyConnext community members must agree to the following terms, conditions, and principles before contact with the MyConnext Ombuds.

Who is Ombuds for?

If you have access to the MyConnext Reporting Tool through a participating organization, you have access time to the Office of the MyConnext Ombuds.

What can the Ombuds help with?

The Ombuds is a confidential and safe resource for you to:

  • Ask questions about how to navigate The MyConnext Reporting Tool

  • Discuss concerns about workplace misconduct

What can’t the Ombuds help with?

The Ombuds does not offer legal services and cannot:

  • Investigate, arbitrate, adjudicate, or in any other way participate in any internal or external formal legal process.
